Men\u00e9ndez"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>El Intendente de Tacuaremb\u00f3 Dr. Jos\u00e9 Omar Men\u00e9ndez en los d\u00edas de Patria Gaucha cumpli\u00f3 una intensa agenda que incluy\u00f3 las actividades previstas en el programa y tambi\u00e9n la recepci\u00f3n de diferentes autoridades y diplom\u00e1ticos. Recibi\u00f3 al Presidente de la Republica Luis Lacalle Pou qui\u00e9n visit\u00f3 la laguna, desfil\u00f3 y en el palco presenci\u00f3 el desfile gaucho con m\u00e1s de 3700 caballos. En el despacho principal el embajador de EEUU Kenneth George intercambi\u00f3 sobre la actualidad pol\u00edtica nacional, los lazos comerciales con Uruguay y el valor que tiene para la cultura del pa\u00eds esta fiesta, siendo \u00e9l de Texas, le regal\u00f3 al Intendente un libro sobre Cowboys y recibi\u00f3 un mate y un libro de la Patria Gaucha. En este marco tambi\u00e9n se acerc\u00f3 hasta el despacho el embajador de Rusia qui\u00e9n expres\u00f3 su satisfacci\u00f3n por el trato recibido en Tacuaremb\u00f3 destacando que le gusta el desfile gaucho. En ese sentido el embajador de Gran Breta\u00f1a que hizo el recorrido del desfile a caballo. inform\u00f3 al intendente sobre algunas reuniones mantenidas con el Frigor\u00edfico Marfrig y una visita realizada al Instituto Anglo.
